The name BLOCK ONE is born from our original vineyard block which was hand planted by Proprietors Sheri-Lee and Curtis Krouzel in 2009. Some of the original vines which are almost 10 years old are now producing some of the estates finest fruit which goes into our international award-winning wines. Our menu items will feature locally sourced ingredients including fresh produce from our onsite culinary gardens. Our fresh farm to table approach will deliver memorable food and wine experiences while guests are surrounded with panoramic lake views and world class architecture. Our philosophy is all about a sense of place and our aim is to provide an experience that highlights the relationship between food, wine, and terroir. By sourcing only the best local produce, dairy and proteins we are not only able to provide and amazing dining experience to our guests, but we are also supporting our neighbours and the local economy. We let the seasons guide us and we cook with what is readily available to us in our region. Some of the local farms that we support are Sterling Springs Chicken, Wild Moon Pork, De Dutchmen Dairy, Arlo's honey, and Road 17 Artic Char. The bulk of our produce comes directly from our on-site garden which allows us to focus on cooking within the seasons.
Our entire menu has been engineered using local and seasonal produce wherever possible. Our wine list is entirely locally sourced and we offer only a small number of local craft beers. We use Okanagan Spirits exclusively in our cocktail program. We also offer Mother Love kombucha as a non-alcoholic option.
